Here is the golf course portion of the camp ground. I don't know why but only took this one picture of the golf course and it is not a very good one. It looks really dusty and dry in this picture. But really it was green and lush and damp with rain.
There are two humming bird feeders there and the owners fill them all the time. The bigger one you will see pictured below they fill three times a day. I could have sat and watched this little birds for hours.
At one point Leanna was teeing off and a humming bird came and hovered in front of here for a few seconds. We just stood still and enjoyed it, very cool experience.
The owner of the campground was telling me that the humming birds eggs are hatching soon and that is why they are so aggressive right now.
Here is the larger feeder. At dusk there are more birds than shown here at the feeder. I hear there was 50 or so. I took my photos in the morning and there were a lot, but not 50.
Click the pictures of the humming birds they are better bigger.

More Camping
This is my first moon picture with a tripod. I bought this little tiny tripod for $5. It is small enough to carry with me and I thought I might use it now and again. This was my first go with it and I am happy with the picture. I look forward to playing with it a little more.
The spring leaves were just starting to unfold this weekend. I would like to see what the campground looks like in two weeks or so when everything starts to bloom.
We came home to a leak in the basement suite. We are very lucky the renters were home and they had the brains to turn off the water main to the house. When we got home we discovered it was the sprinklers and were able to turn the main back on. I have a space heater dying the floor downstairs and a plumber coming on Friday.

Camping
We went up to Wells Grey to do some camping for the long weekend. We had a great time.
You can't see it, but there is a river running right behind the trailer. The river was really moving this year. Spring has been late in coming so the melt is starting late this year. We had warm weather the Friday and Saturday and the river came up quite a bit while we were there. It was cool to watch it rush it by. Listening to it put my right to sleep at night.
This was our first adventure with trailer. We had to work some kinks out. It took us two days to figure out the hot water heater and we had a bit of trouble with the battery in the trailer. We got everything figured out by the end of the weekend.
The kids spent their time rock hunting and checking out the bat houses everywhere. They did some golfing with us and drove a golf cart for me.
I don't know why PJ is looking so intense in this photo. I think she is posing for me but I am not remembering right now.
Paul and Don figuring out the battery thing.
Lots of Barking Cows made it for the camp out. Including Phil and Leanna, they drove all the way from Alberta to come golf and visit. It was wonderful to see them, it makes me miss them even more!

We are Alive
I got home very early last Sunday morning and was immediately sucked into a whirlwind. I spent Sunday with the kids and Paul catching up and playing hard.
Monday I went to work and was crazy busy. Early Tuesday morning Paul started vomiting. Poor guy was sick as a dog. I got up and went to work for him on Tuesday.
Come 10:00 Tuesday evening Q started vomiting. Poor kid threw up every 15 min all night long. I stayed up with him so Paul could rest and recover hoping he could work on Wed.
The rest of the week was a wash, I did my best to keep my tired head above water and catch up from the week I was out of town.
For mothers day Paul gave me...the flu. I spent Sunday with my head in the toilet, PJ started with it Sunday night.
I was honestly relieved when Sebass started throwing up about midnight Sunday night. I figured once he got through it we would be in the clear for a while.
You will be happy to know that everyone is feeling better at this point. I am back on the blogging train now and starting to feel caught up.
I posted only the one photo. I know Mom posted it as well. Click on it, it is so much better big, I made it my desk top, now I am cruising every time I turn on my computer.
