Camping

We went up to Wells Grey to do some camping for the long weekend. We had a great time.

You can't see it, but there is a river running right behind the trailer. The river was really moving this year. Spring has been late in coming so the melt is starting late this year. We had warm weather the Friday and Saturday and the river came up quite a bit while we were there. It was cool to watch it rush it by. Listening to it put my right to sleep at night.

This was our first adventure with trailer. We had to work some kinks out. It took us two days to figure out the hot water heater and we had a bit of trouble with the battery in the trailer. We got everything figured out by the end of the weekend.

The kids spent their time rock hunting and checking out the bat houses everywhere. They did some golfing with us and drove a golf cart for me.

I don't know why PJ is looking so intense in this photo. I think she is posing for me but I am not remembering right now.

Paul and Don figuring out the battery thing.

Lots of Barking Cows made it for the camp out. Including Phil and Leanna, they drove all the way from Alberta to come golf and visit. It was wonderful to see them, it makes me miss them even more!

The ad on the back of the truck worked, I went to the web site.

Paul made the web site and is re-working it now. He took a free advertising seminar and learned a whole lot he is trying to implement now.

Angie, I had no idea what you were talking about. I had to go back and look more closely at Kelly's photos.
